Our Philosophy

The Taiyib Method

Our proprietary, experience-based learning philosophy — where children don't sit at a desk to study the world. They step into it, and learn by living it.

Learning by living

A childhood spent experiencing the world, not memorizing it.

The Taiyib Method is the beating heart of Passport Learning Academy. It rejects the idea that little children belong behind desks with worksheets. Instead, we believe the earliest years are meant to be lived — through real places, real tools, real responsibilities, and real relationships.

Every day is woven from purposeful play, respect for each child as a whole person, and the deliberate protection of curiosity. Children swim, cook, garden, explore museums, and serve their community — moving their bodies, following their questions, and building the habits of a healthy, connected life.

With only six explorers, this method is not a program applied to a crowd. It is a childhood tailored to one child at a time — the intimacy of private care with the wonder of a world expedition.

The eight principles

Eight commitments woven through every single day

Each principle is a promise — the quiet architecture beneath every adventure, meal, outing, and moment of wonder your child will live at Passport.

Experience-Based

Children learn by doing and living — real places, real tools, real responsibilities — not worksheets.

Purposeful Play

Every game and activity is intentionally designed to build a specific skill, sense, or strength.

Respect

Children are treated as capable, whole people. We follow their dignity, voice, and pace.

Curiosity

Questions are treasured. We protect and feed the natural wonder every child is born with.

Movement

Bodies and brains grow together — swimming, dancing, climbing, and daily active play.

Community

Children learn belonging, empathy, and teamwork through outings and shared life.

Healthy Living

Nourishing food, rest, nature, and wellbeing habits woven through every day.

Real-World Learning

The city is our classroom — museums, gardens, kitchens, and neighborhoods.

How a day unfolds

Learning that flows through the whole day

At Passport, there is no bell that separates "learning" from "living." Reading happens in the garden. Math happens in the kitchen. Science happens at the water's edge. Kindness happens everywhere. A day with us is a gentle expedition — and every experience is chosen with intention.

Morning

Water & confidence

The day often begins in motion — a swimming morning where children build water confidence, safety, and the pure joy of moving their bodies together.

Midday

Real kitchens, real recipes

Small hands measure, pour, and knead. Cooking becomes math, language, patience, and nutrition — and lunch becomes something they made with pride.

Afternoon

Hands in the garden

Planting, watering, and harvesting teach science and patience. Children learn that food grows, seasons turn, and care makes things flourish.

Anytime

The city as classroom

Museums, libraries, and neighborhood outings open the world. Curiosity is followed wherever it leads — because the world is the best textbook.

The architect

“I don't run a daycare. I build the foundation of a child's whole life — one adventure, one discovery, one act of love at a time.”
